BBraun Teaching Award

Nominations are requested for: BBraun teaching award 'unsung hero '

This award is presented annually to a clinician who has shown excellence in regional anaesthesia teaching and research within the UK, but has otherwise not found recognition through the normal meritorious pathways  e.g. ACCEA

We thank BBraun for their continued generous sponsorship of this award (£1000), and for agreeing to present it at the RAUK annual meeting in Newcastle on Friday May 11th 2012.

The criteria, as agreed by the Board of RAUK  Oct 2005, are:

*    ESRA member
*    Sustained commitment to teaching regional anaesthesia
*    Minimum of 10 years experience as a consultant
*    The individual should not hold an award at national level.
*    Nomination proposed and seconded by individuals from local hospital (not necessarily ESRA member) or ESRA member.
*    CV and citation reviewed by ESRA board
